The Western crew
We are Western Horsemen Crew, sometimes called The Western Crew for short. We do Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Reining, and Cattle Cutting. How we do these lessons were developed by members and the owner, each giving their input and many long hours of dedication. These lessons are held to the best of our abilities to follow the true guidelines of each sporting event, bringing a taste of True Western Spirit to Night Star and other Servers and Star Stable Players.

Western Pleasure focuses on how well you and your horse respond to a given command. The terms Walk, Jog, Lope, Halt, Backup, and Reverse are used in shows and lesson
Barrel Racing
Barrels
Barrel Racing is a pattern of three barrels set up in a triangle with the running pattern of a clover, with a 5 second penalty to knocking over barrels
Pole Bending
Poles
Pole Bending is a pattern of six poles with a distance of 20 feet apart in a single file line with the pattern of to the end, weaving to the start then back to the end with a final run home
Reining
Reining
Reining is a series of precise executions in various patterns, movements, and control at a lope or gallop in a specific order and place for the actions to be taken
Cattle Cutting
Cattle Working
Cattle Cutting is an event where the cutter(s) take a single cow out of a herd and keep the cow away for 30 seconds, with the goal of doing it in the fastest time
